I was out to Shaniko, Oregon in

2015.
Started off a little chilly and very windy but turned into a
gorgeous bluebird day by 13:00 or so. Won't be seeing many more
days like this until at least Spring, 2016.
The little chapel, which used to be located on Bakeoven Road
was open today.... first time we've been able to look inside.
GETTING THERE: I-84 to The Dalles.
SR 197 to Maupin (there's one gas station here).
Bakeoven Road to Shaniko.
SR 97 to Biggs Junction.
