These images were taken with my Nikon D810 camera and my Zeiss Planar T*
50mm f/1.4 lens.

We got ourselves a free night at the Agate Beach Best Western so we
rented a nice car and headed out for another weekend adventure. The weather
was wonderful (Thanks Eloise!)..... got some half way decent images.

The Heceta Head Lighthouse is at the end of a half mile uphill trail
that starts in a very small State Park parking lot. We've been by here
several times over the years and the parking lot has always been full.
We got lucky this time and found a place to park and hiked up for our
first close up look at this old lighthouse and Bed and Breakfast.

No people to speak of except for this couple who had several ill-mannered
children. I could never be a teacher if this is what I had to deal with
on a daily basis.

Perfect photography weather and lighting so I got what I think are several
half way decent images. The first two were processed as panorama since
I was way too close to the subjects to get them all in with a 50mm prime
lens. The software doesn't handle lens distorion all that well with pano
stitching but I am overall pleased with what I got. Never could have
gotten anything this good with Lightroom.
