Travels with the Original Easyrider®
2010 Edition
Portland, Oregon

Pictures of Suzy when she was new.
Purchased new on 8/28/07 for $10,000 cash at Bendover Bobs, Tigard, Oregon.
A 2006 Suzuki Boulevard C90-T, a rebranding of the old 1500 Intruder.
This bike has had it's issues, owing largely to Suzuki designers cutting
corners to save ten cents at the cost of reliability. Still, it's been
a mostly good bike so far and the one that I ride most frequently.

Everything you ever wanted to know about the Suzuki Boulevard.

First long ride - Windy Ridge, Mount Saint Helens | 9/10/07

My favorite (and the only) restaurant in Glenwood, Washington.

The Dilligafs in their standard pose.

A nice ride out to Vernonia, April 26, 2008

So Suzy went in for a complete go-over in 2013. New sneakers. Tune-up,
fluid change. The works. And then was parked in a corner of the garage
for the next nine years.

Now thanks to President Brandon, inflation is out of control and I'll need
an inexpensive mode of transportation so.... Suzy gets great fuel economy
for a big displacement motor and runs good on regular so time to bring the
old girl out of retirement.

No small thing trying to find a battery for her with the supply chain
shortages (Thanks Joe, you fucking senile imbecile). GMan up in Seattle
had a massive 550 CCA Odessey AGM battery that took a crowbar to install
but once in, Suzy fired right up. What a goil!

The fliuds in her have zero miles on them but they're obviously old.
Should be fine for now and I'll dump them next Spring. This battery
should still be going strong long after I am in the ground.

Next is a $180 detail at Olympiclean out in Aloha.

Ran fine for her brief shake-down ride.
~$150/year for decent insurance coverage so not bad at all.

Suzy after being all spiffed up with a fresh battery and detail.

Now there's a happy goil!
Ran great. Nice ride on a nice day.
Well worth the time and expense to get
her back on the road again!
