Except that the NCL Bliss is still under construction in Germany
So we will be sailing on the NCL Pearl...

And the now not-so-wonderful Edgewate Motel is now being run by
Dicks so we'll spend the night at the equally luxurious Crown Plaze Hotel

It was supposed to pour buckets the whole week we were in Alaska, but.....
A little moolah to the Eloise Company and she sent her heckilopter up
and sprayed a crap-load of GET LOST! all over the place (sorry Texas....
didn't mean to cause a hurricane)... it did rain in Skagway but it
cleared right up once we got into the higher elevations. Otherwise, the
weather was perfect albeit unseasonally nice.

These images were taken with my Nikon D810 and nifty fifty lens.

The whale watching excursion was a big disappointment... the whales
weren't exactly jumping out of the water... and packing 45 people on to
that little boat made it impossible to get an even half way decent picture.
Julie got the best picture of the day.

We got way better pictures standing on the shore out on the Oregon Coast
a couple of weeks ago.
