Another gorgeous day. Got to the Johnstone Observatory trailhead early (09:00).
There were only three other cars there and none of them turned out to be going to
Coldwater Peak. Had the trail pretty much to ourselves except that the final
couple of miles when returning were wall-to-wall tourists and dipshits.

There were some nice views of Mount Adams out here.
A lovely, serene day with absolutely no people out here!
St. Helens Lake is still a little frosty.
